- User Office VPN Access
- Identify which office the user needs to connect to
- Check the Radius section within Jump Cloud to identify what group the corresponding office is in
- Add user to the same user group(s)
- In this case you would need to add the user to OPD reporting to access the 70

- Acquire VPN Configuration Settings (In step 3 when we go to setup the VPN you will need to know both the VPN IP address as well as the pre-shared key)
- Using the Meraki VPN web portal select the office the user needs access (In this case it would be the Denver office for 70 BroadwaySelect the office)
- Expand the "Security & SD-WAN" tab
- "Select Appliance Status"
- WAN 1 contains the VPN IP address needed for VPN configuration
- Get the Pre-shared Key
- Expand Security & SD-WAN
- Select Client VPN
- The Shared Secret is going to be used as the Pre-shared Key
- Take note of both the Pre-shared Key and VPN IP address (WAN1)
3. Configuring Users VPN on their machine (This section of the SOP comes from an older article showing how to configure a VPN on a user's PC. Follow the instructions using the Pre-shared Key and VPN IP Address (WAN1) that you found in Step 2)
- Fill out the information below using the information specific to the office you are connecting to.
- The connection name can be anything so long as the Server address matches the VPN IP Address (WAN1)
- Be sure to use your Pre-shared Key not the one in the example. (They may be the same however)
- Finally go to control panel and edit the properties for the VPN network adapter we just created.
- The user can then connect to the VPN by entering their windows credentials, solong as you moved them into the proper JumpCloud group in Step 1!
